Meet Yamile Saied Mendez, an author with a passion for storytelling. Originally from Rosario, Argentina, Yamile has written over 20 books ranging from short stories to anthologies to novels. Her work explores themes of home, friendship, and identity in hopes of connecting with readers.
Yamile's love for stories began at a young age. She would create her own tales to share with friends and family. Despite having no direct connection to the writing world, she pursued her literary passions and earned a Master's degree in writing. Her writing is a reflection of her belief that stories are the perfect way for human beings to connect and empathize with one another. She hopes that readers will find themselves in her characters and their experiences.
